Monday was an absolute blood bathafter the Yen and Nikkei imploded – Between Friday 2 August and Monday 5 August, the ASX 200 fell 5.7%.
The ASX 200 has not seen a selloff like this since 18-19 March 2020, where it fell 9.9%. If you ignore the cluster of Covid-related selloffs, the last time our market fell 5% or more in two sessions was in August 2015.
