The German guy claims IAC's are an "abberation" around the 31m mark.
in particular in-situ leaching he says are bad because of the obvious environmental problems (except in places like myanmar) but he also isn't a fan of strip mining and tank leaching because it destroys rainforests. MEI proposes the latter but he obviously hasn't consulted google maps of the caldera because a lot of it is farmland and there is hardly any rainforest. the australian guy at the 34m mark politely picked up on this although he is not 100% convinced that it will chemically work. In the Australian's words, "if serra Verde works (and by extension the higher grade iacs in the minas gerais caldera,) then no hard rock ree project will be built in the future such would be the disruptive low cost nature of these deposits."
