can you explain what you mean by that part? its up to the person to change their expectations, or something happens which makes your expectation change.
or have you taught yourself in these scenarios to be aware of that, and then looking at it in the positive frame of mind, as opposed to negative.
kind of like glass half empty or glass half full.
