It would make sense that right now, until 10 Dec, governments are - same as here in OZ - in caretaker mode where such decisions are on hold, ie they leave it up to the new incoming minister to make such announcements, especially where, I presume like here, they would be considered of reasonable significance.

They'd all know how the world is carefully watching this Li space, and how everybody wants to have a slice of it. Make no mistake either, IMO there will be a strong competitive emotional element to "win over Bolivia". Thus, Argentina will be wanting to make the most out of their recent political turmoil.

Those of us who have dealt with government approvals and the related bureaucracy, esp. in places like Argentina, appreciate how frustrating this can be - and how unfair it can be to blame the applicant, ie here AGY/Jerko.

Let's trust that they have submitted a quality application with all relevant info and that the new incoming governor and his ministers will want to hit the ground running and use well prepared, fully assessed, ready for signing applications that tick all the boxes, that comply with their political agenda (jobs, growth, technology, future markets, export etc) for some easy early wins, positive news flow and momentum. Let's hope they do that before Christmas for a good AGY Chrissie!
