I'm happy to be corrected, but as far as I know, there is very little public information about the current going price for customer-tailored battery grade (and potentially, battery process qualified) Lithium Carbonate. My main source is watching a few of the recent interviews with Simon Moores on YouTube.
I find the USD 15k-20k number plausible, although I'm not too pleased about seeing such a number reported like that.
