I have been thinking about the fact they are producing feedstock at a 1500-2000t per annum rate with virtually no throughput in the plant. Even with the plant running at nameplate rate (which it isnt), and it will be at least 2 years before S2 is running (due to funding and construction), feed stock production will 400% higher then the utilisation rate.

if the process was to evaporate to solid form then this could be easily stockpiled, however there are double handeling activities.

I am trying to figure out how they can store the slurry and keep it at the desired concentration and consistency. In a couple of years time they are going to have enough stockpiled to make 5000t of product. I haven't worked out how much brine that works out to be, but seems like a lot of effort will be required.

I recall it being mentioned here that they have storage tanks at Olacapato. Would need 12,495,000 litres of brine in ponds to make 5000kg of product by my calcs. How much it is evaporated from there would determine amount of storage required which would be 1200m3 or appx 10.6mX10.6mX10.6m ( X 1000 for kg to tonnes ). So seems quite a bit of storage capacity required. I could be completely wrong of course.
