Cuban Governement Joint Ventures !!! - that'd have to be risky right ?
Well no, not according to two other long term JV partners with the Cuban Government:
Sherritt International (Canadian) - since 1994, presence in Cuba almost 30 years - Moa JV (nickel and cobalt)

note: also in recent Sherritt International market announcements (Nov 2021) they present plans to expand output and mine life of the Moa JV due to forward looking Nickel demand
Trafigura Mining Group (multi-national) - since 2017, presence in Cuba 5 years - Emincar JV (zinic and lead)
check out their site
note: also in the most recent Trafigura Annual Accounts (easy to find on their website) they show as having brought to account approx $250m per year in JV Related Party proceeds for both 2021 and 2020
