Why so cheap you might ask?
it's the proximity to surface (in fact it is out cropping or above ground basically in certain sections) and the fact it is an oxide ore.
Which means it,s amenable or easier to process by way of simple extraction as can be seen below.
Dig it, Crush it, Stack it & Leach it... It does not get much simpler..
I admit I dont have the recovery figures on crush sizing at hand but if Brian is quoting figures you can bet the company has ballpark numbers and ergo I'd be comfortable that the start-up figure is achievable.
Which depending on the grade mined and then recovered could most probably be met by advancements on forward offtake agreements because it doesnt take too long to get a heap leach operation into production..
Ergo, the move by the company the other week to seek to excise the area of the oxide cap from the wider concession means plans are already underway to support a mining operation that is otherwise separate from the wider porphyry ore body as a means of generating quick cash flow..
Thats why the team are on big money IMO, this aint the lifestyle channel... Trust me
