Something else to remember:- A good number of Financial Institutions have trading desks with the operators having budgets to meet. They also would not just have one stock to trade. So most of the action on a daily basis has little to do with what the underlying Company does (in this case AAU). All the trading is trying to do is make budget or better. Explains why so much goes through the market on so many stocks on any given day. In fact, when announcements from the traded companies are anticipated traders become quite nervous. Lack of information is often easier to cope with. The wealth behind the big players has them doing the trading on the much larger stocks, not too many would worry about AAU style holdings because of the difficulty to move large funds in and out. So us Hot Copperites are left with the minnows like AAU.
