I believe we (i.e. ALC) absolutely must enter the competition. If we win it is another string to our bow that we can claim. Our reputation is such that it will not matter if we do not win.
To date, everything we have done is with a single clear goal which is to aid patient outcome for the better. That is the bottom line for everyone involved. We should NEVER forget that. From that goal there are multiple ways we will win.
At any time, we can
prove to anyone (e.g. when going for a contract, or if an audit on outcomes is performed by ANYone, government, the doctors, nurses and admin.) that we are saving the institution or health system money, let alone increasing the confidence of personnel.
If any competitor can demonstrate better patient outcomes then they deserve to win contracts, but they probably can't and will not as long as we keep ahead. If they outbid on price alone then we can simply demonstrate the savings we create.
I believe we are the Gold Standard. Our A.I. Miya platform is brilliant and is another point of difference. The stats on patient outcome are easily obtained from it and the treatment-push notifications to doctors must be appreciated by them. One error avoided from a push would be something they'd not forget.
We must preserve our system and improve to always be the best.
