Doing a bit of weekend research, which has included a more thorough read of the Royal Commission into Aged Care and the Federal budget. I’m sure many would be aware Scotty has promised 18billion for the sector.
I hold a few stocks that should benefit from this funding. One potential growth area for Alcidion in this regard is medication management. It’s flown under the radar in HC discussions around our product suite but my research suggests this could be an important revenue stream in coming years. Medication-related issues are the number one most reported and complained about failing in residential aged care. I anticipate we will start to see Alcidion products spreading beyond the hospital setting into aged care facilities and homes. Exciting times ahead.
