The tax will be a health care levy set at 1.5% and will be capped and 12500 pounds over a lifetime of a 25yr old. Boris has labelled this Tax as a thorny affair which has been ducked by previous governments leaving the HES in a compromised position.
No surprise there, typical political response!
Further Boris said it has become a fiscal matter and would be irresponsible to borrow further.
One could argue this pandemic has highlighted deficiencies in all healthcare sectors regardless of governments or country which if left unchecked will result in economic collapse.
Measures will be put in place to ensure the funding will not fall into a "black hole".
Waiting to see our governments response to tax increase considering the lack of responsible measures in place for job keepers. From a first had account increases in land tax over the past 24 months has been a disgrace with business insurances following the same trend.

As a positive ALC position in Health Care will be exciting to follow as the need for digital reform is absolute.
