Two of my companies have been taken over this year, UWL and PTB (in progress), and both were
subjected to relentless selling for long periods. PTB didn’t go anywhere despite upgrading earnings by 35-40%; UWL advised the market that parties were looking at its books for potential takeover, reported strong numbers, and was conducting a buy-back and still got sold into, bringing the share price down to a point where the eventual offer looked good.
Absolutely no problem holding here, though more contract wins will help the journey.
