the acqusition did say the existing NHS trusts had 3 years before their silverlink licence was being renewed; it it was going to be getting replaced internal projects at the hospitals would begin evaluating 18 months out to leave plenty of time for pilots

often just to be able to sell silverlink new product codes need to happen with the new company as they integrate, i am guessing they wont be a stand alone anymore
ive often seen the year after acquisition new sales plummet and then after that 12 months it starts to get back to normal

my two cents
the rising interest rates, rising energy costs, and covid would all put pressure on the healthcare systems in thr uk and globally and shift to more one of maintaining the systems they have. as example with covid in Canberra all new contracts were changed to 12 month contracts to give the govt greater flexibility to cut and run as needed.

remember selling to healthcare are long term strategic sales. its govt vote by committee and nothing moves quickly. they are a govt body like any other govt body. i spent 7 of my 15 years sLes selling to fed govt and they can be glacially slow

happy they are signing at the speed they are

“Glacially slow” - that is my experience as well. Not worried about the timeframes. See you all on the flip side.

2023 might just be the year Alcidion becomes a market darling. Patience will reward those with a medium to long term investment horizon.
