ONE is being pumped by the people at Next Investors, companies give them shares to pump their stock whenever an announcement is made, this leads to crazy share price movements and higher prices for capital raises. Be cautious of any of their recommendations.
Buuuuuuuut, sometimes they do a pretty good job, Vulcan for example (ASX: VUL) has made plenty of people a lot of money.
As you said ALC looks stronger than ONE, I agree. It's been painful recently but the fundamentals have held up reasonably well IMO.
