The market that Alcidion is targeting is somewhat different to the ones that Cerner etc are involved in.

In its current state, Alcidion is targetting the mid and small sized NHS trusts, not the larger ones. Kate has mentioned this in one of the middle webinars.

Whilst the middle and smaller sized NHS trusts are perceived to be more nimble, it is also more impacted by front lines pressures and the availability of key personnel - for example, smaller sized teams where decision making can come to a halt due to unavailability of one key personnel.

Sympathetic to Alcidion's current predicament but yet also concerned about how things have come to a halt. FY24 has to deliver some contract wins, particularly contracts that would justify the Silverlink purchase.
