I have a completely different view on this. (Maybe not completely as in of course it has significantly added to their revenue) however, this is not the reason they acquired Silverlink. I think the main reason was expansion. It instantly them another 50 hospitals over 11 Trusts. Silverlink has been installed in some of these hospitals about 20 -25 years from memory so it is rather sticky. It not alone allows them to upsell but it gives them a new and also vital product that was missing in their portfolio. Of course they over-paid. They really had no choice if you look at this as a long-term investor. I like this about them. They are looking after the long term health of the company. You see too many CEO's that come in for 3-5 years but could not care less about the long term. Kate has founder mentality and she kind of is really in a way since MKM health and Alcidion became intertwined.... Anyway... So , this is the way I see it. They over paid for Silverlink but it was a massive opportunity as it expanded them overnight. Besides the upsell potential, they also have increased their annual recurring revenue and have guaranteed upgrades revenue for their professional services teams. 60% of them required an upgrade within 4 years. The main attraction for me is the expansion. I think we will see this come to fruition over the next 12-18 months.
