ALC is the biggest dog in my portfolio by a country mile…..which is saying something as I’m a crap investor (and I bought SP in low teens).
The departure of the UK MD (for fresh pastures and “challenges”) tells me it is going pear shaped in UK. Those in the know ( that’s not me btw) will get the wiff downwind which does not bode well for future contracts etc plus everything is reflected in a SP as the market “knows” and is forward positioned.
I do hope I’m wrong and ALC will get the boxing gloves on in 2024 to win new contracts after appointing a dynamic new UK MD and head of sales. The tone need to change IMO from we’ve got a great product (which will sell itself) just waiting to be discovered, to massing the troops to go over the top for aggressive product marketing and placement.
