IMO the buyers at 50m mc didnt get this wrong, they were simply the last bus load to board the train, for the time being. That gave way to some others getting off the train at cheap prices.
50m mc is a bet on Pel 182 / 4-500m take over, out of 2.5-5b NPV
its also a bet on say poe 100m mc etc growth for Worrior and kiwi to the underlying cash flows.
There is a double bet in play, and if sellers want to give that up for 40m mc etc. thats their call.
Because they made a small profit in the scheme of things, to the scale of the multiple prizes to be had.
Bring some more buses with the next announcement..
