    I think people fail to realise that the changes to the Safeguard Mechanism have been foreshadowed since the new Federal Government came into power last year on its commitment to reducing Australia’s Co2-e emissions! So the final detail is not surprising in that new gas facilities will be accountable for their onsite emissions from day one. Most importantly, the final detail does not outlaw new projects!
