Perhaps with the developments relating to emissions offsets for new gas developments in the Beetaloo basin, and the economic feasibility challenges this now creates, there will be more focus on Cooper basin existing projects.
That might make companies like Santos a bit more eager to build reserves at current producing locations. That can only be good for PEL182 next door.
I think some of the more lateral thinkers are repositioning for this possibility IMO.
