This was said in June 2022 by Santos CEO.....why do you think beanbush is a priority, you don't run a frac simulation on deep play CSG to put it on the back burner, you run the frac to confirm before bringing it into production.
Santos know there success rate with CSG fracking, BAS don't have to do anything.
Tino & Hector both worked for Santos so relations are good a JV deal would smooth sailing talks are probably happening behind the scenes as we speak.
