These are all fair points you make, Whisky. I think though, most investors don't expect magical instant returns (that's for instos and sophs only).
But lately, it seems like 2 steps forward, THREE steps back.
And you know what? I'm starting to feel like our worst enemy are not the shorters, but the BOD themselves! They've had more negative effect on our SP than the shorters this year.
Just ask the LTH. It's not the first time they've seen this, but as well they can't say that the SP has improved since the last time.
