If the BOD miss deadlines which they themselves create they must mop up.

Cheers Dingo, with regards to the above there are no deadlines just timelines and they are completely different things , deadlines involve specific dates and timelines are estimates or best guesses ,very rarely meet and even more rarely beaten.
There are no rights and wrongs on the subject really we all see things differently and probably best put in the agreement to disagree compartment. Management to date have achieved the things that matter on time IMO and can see no obvious reason why that won't continue and that's good enough for me, what they are trying to achieve is well documented and challenging so expect hiccups and surprises along the way.
