The other thing that really confuses me is the off-take agreement. So on one hand, there is an off-take with PLL for greater of 50% production or 113000t but that is with a ceiling of USD900/tonne . The other 50% is still subject to off-take negotiations which are still yet to be finalised.

As the current run-rate is still below 113000t per annum (April was 7224 as per investor presentation), does that mean that they will all go to PLL at maximum of USD900/tonne? The JV would hardly be profitable at that price! And once run-rate exceeds 113000t per annum, where is that surplus going to go to? Is it sold on spot market?

Why wouldn’t they finalise off-takes before heading into production. Companies who are in exploration/discovery stage are also signing off-takes and yet the JV can’t finalise one prior to production???
