Just an observation about the dramatic drop in short position over the last few days.
We have seen the 50m+ trades (total) going through after closing likely closing of short positions. However, the increase in total shares to 10bn reduces (mathematically) the total short positions as a proportion of the total shareholding. Still, even accounting for this total shares dilution, I reckon that there has been a substantial reduction in short positions.
