So I guess you would have preferred if he ignored the email and didn't reply? Everyone would have loved that. If you just take the meeting for what it was, an acknowledgement of concerns raised by a SH, there really isn't much to get angry about. If they respond by operating in the same manner well then there is a reason to get mad.
