Disagree. The whole point of WhatsTheTip's post is regarding why would PLL agree to spending a lot of money to develop and commission this facility, when it'll make them less money for the foreseeable future than selling the Spodumene offtake will.
It's a very valid question which often gets conveniently ignored on the SYA forum.
