On the German discussion platform wo a user deals with the somewhat incomprehensible study instead of the expected PFS and tries to find a sense for the "big" - which BL sees yes. I translate times and would be grateful to you if you write your opinion on it times:
First, he does not believe that the extra production of about 3610tpa LCE described in the study is a reason for the "downgrading" from PFS to study. The target for annual production must be 30,000tpa LCE. But this will require Authier and Tansim as suppliers. Without that, it is not feasible.
"The study says in order to achieve LCE production in a timely manner, you have to make financial advances to be able to order Plant Equipment early enough to expand NAL, depending on approvals to NAL LCE for 23610tpa. How far away then from the 30000tpa for the two Plant parts SC6% and LCE, the Wast and Tailings, the deliveries from Authier and Tansim, small 6390t LCE or after the study interpolated, the difference from 2,9Miot to ca 3,68Miot ROM so 780kt ROM probably from the mines of Authier and Tansim. Whereby the better quality from there will depress the tonnage delivered.
Included in the study are NPV figures for the plant, again based on the current NAL SCx% Plant. The NPV and IRR% have good values according to the sensitives, over the 16 year mine life. There is no extended point for 3610tpa to continue the study with the tonnage sizes included. A few more tons from the mines, a slightly larger plant adjustments and the NPV of NAL, goes into a new dimension, plus a much longer life than 20 years, with appropriate data on NPV and IRR would then be possible.
This will all be able to come only "if Canada wants it to!"
Is SYA trying to build pressure towards the region or Canadian politics to take NAL seriously enough to finally grant the permits and recondition the Cree to motivate them faster to a contract that secures the properties? Did SYA's study give the government a hint to finally enact funding for NAL and Moblan? Should the government and the region adjust the road network for transportation?
SYA has been upfront with its investors for Canada until now, can we then expect Canada to finally do their part for SYA?
If the Canadian changes to critical minerals are not to degenerate to the waste paper and the state for its laws also monitäre responsibility to its statements of the "first lithium producer of North America in Canada" stands, it must act accordingly. So far there was not much more than media-effective politician visits which were good for the IR and beautiful words. Up to now the political will is missing to implement the project in a timely manner.
SYA needs Canada and Canada needs SYA.
This study of inconsistencies tells very accurately what SYA and its investors expect from Canada. From this perspective, BL has launched a study balloon! One can only hope that all Canadian agencies see this big, holey balloon and patch it up!"
If the reasoning were correct, the study is not addressed to the public directly, but is used to urge government to be proactive in permitting and government grants.
