Interestingly Atlantic Lithium just released their DFS for Ewoyaa lithium project in Ghana which as we should all know is PLL's planned feed of concentrate to their planned refinery in Tennessee. The DFS has gone down badly in UK market and here on ASX, imo mostly because costs have increased but crucially, commissioning of main production is now delayed by over a full year from the dates in the PFS (which was end 2024) to now being Q1 CY2026.... Obviously they would need to ramp up to full production from there of which PLL get half to feed their Tennessee hydroxide plant.
I'm not one for conspiracies, but that does seem to align quite closely with our now current timeline for commissioning of carbonate production from NAL, which obviously is when the feed of spod to PLL is cut off.
Just saying. Maybe totally coincidental, maybe not. Maybe we're helping out KP one last time? Can't operate a hydroxide plant without the SC to feed it...
