I think, you are wrong. If you do the math:
sell price to PLL is ~ 810$
real production costs may be 900$
PLL´s share of these costs are 25% = 225$
900$ total costs - 225$ cost absorption from PLL = 675$ net production cost for SYAQ.
810$ sale - 675$ net costs = 135$netprofit for SYAQ
net profit from 15,000t x 135$/t = 2,025,000$ per shipment.
thats not big, but its no loss!
Remember, PLL has to spent 25% of production cost of the part, SYAQ sells, too!
