Seriously though mate, LG has to be the front runner...

THE TOP 10 ARGUMENTS FOR LG

    1. LG already will be receiving NAL spod, via PLL. When this concentrate is sent to their refiner, they do not have to tune the refining circuit to a concentrate from another producer, as its the same spod from the same source. It makes production more efficient, both in time and cost.
    2. Receiving more concentrate from the same producer, also simplifies their logistical chain
    3. The more IRA compliant concentrate they receive from NAL, the cheaper their battery packs/cars that are fitted with them are in Nth America, via the IRA rebate.
    4. The more ESG compliant concentrate they receive from NAL, the more carbon credits and carbon offsets they will receive.
    5. We have had multiple delegations visit South Korea.
    6. I believe LG reps have visited NAL and have an existing relationship with Guy and the NAL team. Trust goes a long way in business and can command a premium for the privilege. The connection is already in place.
    7. LG will take concentrate or carbonate/hydroxide, regardless of our future plans.
    8. Strategically, taking all NAL's spod, (excluding Tesla's share) possibly eliminates any other competitor taking the only current source of Nth American spod...and puts in jeopardy their competitors fully qualifying for the IRA rebate.
    9. And as a good friend of mine pointed out recently, the DELAY IN OFFTAKE LINES UP WITH THE DELAY IN THE LG/STELLANTIS- ONTARIO/CANADA DEAL, that went back for re-negotiation with the Federal/Ontario governments, and was hanging on a knife edge until 3 days ago,,...they wanted the governments to match the VW offer....(which now, going forward, will also be used as a funding/tax incentive framework for investment from prospective future plants...so expect more investment in Canada, and more opportunities for us)

OTTAWA, July 6 (Reuters) - Canada will provide up to C$15 billion ($11.23 billion) in production incentives for a Stellantis-LG Energy Solution (LGES) (STLAM.MI), electric vehicle battery plant, the federal and Ontario governments said on Thursday, a day after the companies said construction at their plant would resume.

    10. LG are desperate for IRA compliant product and still have not crunched a trade deal with the US/Canada which will prevent their products being disadvantaged in Nth America.

And of course, an Honourable mention, also goes to our 3 guys in their infamous multi coloured jackets....

Now anything can happen, we all know that, but there is a big body of evidence, which points toward LG.

    Good luck everyone....
