What a great day today at our partners Corem with Ministers Champagne and Duclos to discuss projects related to the CSM.

This morning, Corem had the privilege of welcoming to his laboratories the Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry and Member of Parliament for Saint-Maurice - Champlain, Mr. François-Philippe Champagne, as well as the Minister of Health and Member of Parliament for Québec City, Mr. Jean-Yves Duclos. During their visit, Ministers Champagne and Duclos were able to realize that Corem is a major player in the development and deployment of innovative solutions applied to mineral processing through specialized personnel, state-of-the-art equipment and very close partnerships with the mining industry. Through its advances in its pre-competitive research program, and by working with its partners, Corem is helping to improve productivity and reduce the environmental footprint of the mining industry. Ministers Champagne and Duclos were very interested in innovation transfer partnerships aimed at reducing GHGs and developing the battery sector. The visit helped position Corem as a key partner in the development of innovative solutions in support of major national strategic issues such as the energy transition and the green economy. In addition, Mr. Guy Belleau, Chief Executive Officer for Sayona, Mr. Denis Isabel, Vice-President, Sustainable Development for Nemaska Lithium and Mr. Alexandre Belleau, Chief Operating Officer for Minerai de fer Québec joined the meeting and the visit.
