To be fair though, a fluffy announcement stating what's blindingly obvious doesn't really help all that much. I agree their comms could be better, but the market wants to know who rather than "we're in discussions". I'm all for better communication, but you've got to tread the line between providing meaningful updates rather than fluff, otherwise some investors see it as an attempt to polish a turd.
SYA do need better communication though, there's no denying that
