The capital raise was to solidify the company position and be able to accelerate the development of various projects. PC said other matters ongoing and may require funds when window opens (Amos?).
BL: They felt the CR was the best option for moving forward and had considerable discussion regarding it and other possible options. Why risk debt at this stage, they knew the equity raise would cause term pain but the long term benefit and derisking is considerable.
BL wants NAL to be 'cash elephant'.
Alluded to M&A or other projects moving quickly.
