So what I'm reading from all this is that the OTA is still being negotiated, and it's possible that they haven't sealed it yet because it hasn't met their expectations in terms of the best long-term outcome that aligns with the wider integration strategy, but possibly also that the terms of the deal at this stage are not good enough to meet shareholder expectations, given there seems to be a high level of importance placed on this deal.
So in the interim, we will sell on spot market, affording us extra time to deal with the Marlin that came along.
And I'm happy with that. Any OTA would be at a contracted rate, which no doubt would be at a discount to spot in return for long term security. So until they are able to reel in that Marlin, spot prices will maximise the immediate revenue for the time being.
So it appears that there will be a shipment on time after all, even if we don't know where it is going. I look forward to the announcements.
