Well they said at the EGM on Monday we are going to auction this week.

One thing you can guarantee with an auction is you find out what the demand is and it will reflect tge spot price on the day, a real voyage of discovery, it's unlikely we will find out who its going to IMO. One would assume they are putting 15000t up for auction, we'll see.

Given they have continued to head for nameplate production and a July shipment date despite having no OTA in place means they have always been confident in moving the product without one, a plan B so to speak. Plan B was always going to be done as close to shipment as possible to reflect current prices and is why we have heard nothing.

If a satisfactory longerm offtake could have been put together in time well and good but the priority has always been revenue.

So it's going to be very interesting to see what transpires and an OTA can effectively arrive at anytime from this shipment onwards it seems, it will be good to have a more peserrmanent OTA in place but when it comes to price you won't get a better result than an auction, hopefully the terms of the auction also includes the purchaser/s paying for freight and ins...
