I would think that developing a lithium hydroxide refinery in the remote north of the province would be challenging, especially for the mines north of Moblan up around James Bay.
I don’t even know that many of them are anywhere near rail service.
Obviously Nemaska thought it difficult because they are planning on doing their refining at Becancour, nearby to the port and major population centres down south.
Allkem, Winsome, Patriot and others, will face the same challenge.
A refinery at Amos is looking better in every way.
