Of course it was. Not the first time its been mentioned either. It protects both of them , but at the same time it suppresses , compresses the Sayona share price and value. Its not the only thing that is doing that though as there are other clear factors like the uncertainty of Authier coming on stream into an otherwise reduced LOM resources from 27 to 20 years where the potential cost of mining deeper at NAL becomes more costly. And it really doesn't matter how many youtube podcast that Rene Bharti puts together ' spinning ' the potential positives , there is still no doubt uncertainties even in what he is saying of Jourdan's ore being available and coming on stream in 2nd quarter of 2024 calendar year. Even with his comment about permits , while he spoke of it being easy and limited , he also came across as NOT being 100 % sure of that. You still have to disturbed the ground and potentially effect water table issues etc..... So I will bet money right now that it won't be a lay down misere
So yeah that Jourdan ore potentially replaces Authier , but as he himself stated in his podcast that no matter how optimistic or hopeful you can be , stuff does happen that sets you back. So what can go wrong often does type thing. And so that is the whole thing that markets particularly do well , and that is when they need to be conservative they are and can , and when they need to go extremely positive and apply the euphoric pedal to the metal , they do that too.
Right now , the uncertainties still outweigh the certainties and ' Wherewithal ' that Lynch spoke of. We need more information to fill in the blanks on BOTH Moblan , downstream , as well as NAL ore certainty.
Because we can go like mad for 4 years and extract the hell out of the NAL pit , but without confirming further reserves we would only have 16 years left of higher cost and harder ore to recover. This is what the Market is concerned about and why it is primarily not ascribing this wonderous valuation on us. And this is also why the shorts will still participate on this ticker. I can live with this , but a lot here can't seem to do that as Whiskey has pointed out many times.
