Good point Kev - and what a lot of accounting gobbledygook that 'equity' method accounting as applied by PLL here.

They (PLL) claim they have the ability to 'hold significant influence over the operational decision making and financial policies ' of SYA.

Like what? They are separate entities. They don't even have 20% of SYA equity (a generally accepted yardstick for equity accounting). They don't even have a seat at the Board table. Looks like they aren't aiming for one either.

So where is the EVIDENCE of such influence? Like to see someone get to the bottom of this - and have it reported in some sort of statement, so everyone (esp other investors, like us) knows what PLL are on about.

Maybe its the reason why there is going to be a 'follow on study' re NAL carbonate v hydroxide - as reported in July quarterly. In the June announcement it was just talk of carbonate.
