By that time new battery technology could have been discovered, and it's almost certain dozens of other lithium miners will be digging the stuff up if it's that lucrative.
Goldbugs keep telling me gold's going to blast off, but it never does. Probably the main reasons? As soon as the price increases miners crank up production, and with new technology gold can be mined faster than ever. Gold production is almost exponential compared with 100 years ago.
