Yep absolutely moronic. These prices aren't profitable. This whole scare has been orchestrated by GS as they weren't involved. They had to cut the price so they could get into lithium.
Tesla/BYD aside most of the big ramp ups start next year. Most of the legacy brands have really only been providing compliance cars in limited numbers at this point.
The big ones to watch out for are GM and Toyota in the next couple of years. Otherwise the below brands really have volume models starting next year.
Volvo - EX30 - 2023
VW - Golf EV, Scout, New ID range (current ID cars are a POS) 2025
Ford - Explorer 2024, Next gen F150 lightning 2025
Mercedes - Transition to EVs by 2030
BMW - Nue Klasse - 2026
