Mate he's deliberately avoiding more current stronger data. Perhaps hes just picking data for his narrative which has been proven based again on more current and reliable data to be false.
Pre-covid I saw 1 Tesla every odd occassion. Now I go through a shop car park and I see them regular and the occassional Nissan Leaf.
Reality is that all these massive multinational multibillion dollar car companies have committed to EVs. People can poo poo poor sales for a year or a month. End of the day the transition will come and the rest will be history. They can flog the poor sales narrative all they like. To me its burying your head in the sand on the bigger picture, that is the change that is already happening.
