If the Kemerton and Kwinana lithium hydroxide refineries are any guide, having one operable in Becancour in two years time seems optimistic.
In contrast, an operable lithium carbonate plant at NAL seems more likely and it will produce the precursor material that is typically used in LFP batteries, (the type Ford are showing a preference for).
