The interest rates and royalties were punitive in 2019 however AJM paid both and their staff by producing SC6 spondumene at very low cost with their main end customer being Tesla.

The "Acquisition " I won't go into as it was knitted together by many people still in the Li business from my research.
I am sure some of those players are fearful of SYA success in being able to repeat the Altura ability to produce low impurity high quality spod, but in Canada, at low cost.
They may have other fears too re the acquisition, I would.
