Student here. All teachers please educate me on the spot sale of our spod. Question: If we are selling spod into the spot market, why would the Fastmarkets Lithium Hydroxide Monohydrate Spot Price Index & the Shanghai Metals Market Battery Grade Lithium Hydroxide Spot Price Index be used when we are selling spod and not Hydroxide? Now in the release the Fastmarkets Spodumene Spot Price Index is mentioned as well and that makes since, not the others. Is it possible that Sayona is sending their spod overseas to have it converted into hydroxide and then sell that hydroxide into the Hydroxide Spot Market? Would that be feasible or would it be more profitable to do it that way. Just throwing that out there for reason Sayona CAN"T tell us the price they got for the 20,500 spod (because they truly don't know until it is converted and sold as hydroxide). I know I don't know how all the markets work, but, can anyone educate me on this? Thanks.
