Assuming a POSCO or LGES would want a 50% stake and we already have a 75/25 split in our SYQ joint venture, the profit for SYA will be somewhat pared.
Still, the numbers you have put forward are huge, so in the end everyone in the venture would make big money.
I am wondering , if the production of lithium carbonate pushes well ahead of lithium hydroxide on the back of LFP/LMFP advances, would SYQ not bother going down that path and stick with what they know?
If they want lithium carbonate (or lithium phosphate) give them what they want.
