BL said something like that at his meeting with Louie, although he didn't exactly say that he was against it, he just implied that the CR was the other directors idea.

The actual words transcribed by Louie were:

'That was a tough decision, Lou. The board really grappled with that, as a couple of board members have been through tough times where they lost their company.'

You also have to consider that this was the meeting with Louie where he also said:

'I would rather be here with you, than the bankers I am usually with...'

This was prior to the EGM where he would stick out his hand for free shares, so you have to also take into consideration that the entire purpose of his meeting with Louie was to butter up retailers for a positive vote, so therefore anything that was said at that meeting has to be taken with a grain of salt and a dose of healthy skepticism as to the factual nature of it all.
