It's not a gut feeling it's a fact and there is good reason, we already have a half finished carbonate plant which makes going down that route much cheaper, faster and less technical . As I mentioned the other day advances in Carbonate based LFP batteries are starting to put pressure on the advantages Hydroxide NMC batteries may have had for large American vehicles.

There is little doubt NAL will go down the carbonate route IMO for the above reasons , Keith will put up a bit of a fight on behalf of his shareholders as he should, but common sense will likely prevail. In fact having a foot in in both chemical processing camps spreads the risk for them

A very good interview and as we start to approach the funding for the NAL refinery and the MOBLAN concentrator he reminds us its not a simple or fast undertaking if you want to secure the best outcome for your shareholders. He mentioned NAL approaching or being cashflow positive now so the ramp up is going well as we knew anyway and he also mentioned a ship being loaded as he spoke...

Hmm and yet we have our BOD thinking it is ok to wait another 6 weeks (September Q) to provide an update on NAL ramp up when our last update advised ramp up completion was expected in October and ol mate Phil publicly contradicts this announcement by announcing his expectations of mid next year. I mean come on. We have a $B BOD Chair that thinks it is ok to have a part time interim CEO. I mean grow a set and publicly put our major investor back in their place or provide all SHs with the latest NAL operational update.
