Robert Martin is riding the lithium wave through Pioneer Lithium, Critical Resources, Battery Age Minerals and Equinox Resources and projects in Canada (copyright link)





Martin predicts the Canadian lithium sector will grow to rival WA over time, and counts himself fortunate to have got in at the ground floor.“A lot of WA has been explored whereas Canada is a new frontier. It’s like the Pilbara was 50, 60 years ago,” he says. “The very first movers are in the enviable position that we have extremely good ground. And we have extremely good management teams now that can do a lot with the ground.”He adds: “I think with the end users right on the doorstep, it becomes critical for them to be producing in that North American/Canadian area. I think it’ll be quite large in the next five or 10 years. Like [Mineral Resources managing director] Chris Ellison said, you have got to own the rock. We are fortunate we have the rock, we just have to do something with it.”
